MEERUBS - Mapping Embodied Environmental Requirements of Urban Building Stocks

The aim of this project is to quantify and spatially characterise the environmental requirements of building stocks in cities, including material stock, embodied energy, embodied water and embodied greenhouse gas emissions. This allows us to compare the embodied requirements of different urban forms and to identify potentials for urban mining and circular economy at a very high level of detail.
