Mesurer la performance écologique des villes et des territoires : Le métabolisme de Paris et de l’Île-de-France

The present work was carried out within the laboratory Theory of Urban Mutations (LTMU), component of the Joint Research Unit Architecture, Urbanism, Societies (7136) of the CNRS and the University of Paris 8, on behalf of the city from Paris who provided the financing. In addition to the LTMU, it has associated the Sisyphus Joint Research Unit (7619) of the CNRS and the University of Paris 6 Pierre and Marie Curie) and the Center for History of Techniques and the Environment (National Conservatory of Arts and trades, Paris). It is part of the PIREN-Seine work program (http://www.sisyphe.jussieu.fr/internet/piren/). The foundations were laid by the team consisting of Gilles Billen, Josette Garnier, Laurence Lestel, Sabine Barles. Natacha Lizerot and Tifenn Audrain provided a valuable contribution to the data collection. Their inventory was completed by S.Barles, who used them and wrote this document.
